People of the forest

The 2014 Cultural Values in the Ntakata Village Land Forest Reserve assessment carried out by the Tongwe Trust was used to better understand how the Tongwe and Bende relate to Ntakata Forest. We would go on to integrate its findings into a conservation management plan for making Ntakata Forest a Village Land Forest Reserve.
